LEONARD PARIS, the French couture house that started in 1958 by Jacques Leonard, designed by Daniel Tribouillard. Known for their distinct floral prints on diaphanous silk - famed for their lightness of weight and design drawn from the endless geometry potential of orchid flowers. Like all couture, a dress like this astonishing example in gradient magenta, azure and lilac silk chiffon - is a rare flower. The textile appears to be a dip-dyer ombré, but is a finely crafted print - a trompe l'oiel. This cascading gown in truly the stuff dreams are made of.
